A runaway missile caught on camera!

 

What is this? a missile? 

This object was caught on video by a CBS News traffic helicopter during Monday night's rush hour.
The Defense Department hasn't claimed ownership of it, and speculation that it could be a commercial rocket launch is also in doubt because it wasn't reported to the Federal Aviation Administration.
"We didn't approve any commercial launches in the area," Ian Gregor, an FAA spokesman for the Western-Pacific Region, told AOL News.
